With Copa America and World Cup looming large- Eugy (EG) Ngassi (Russian American) plans to return to professional soccer with his new name Cimone Mirage.
Soccer or world football has been a coming and known reality of his life and he has made wages in the US soccer system with Club, academy, D1 schools, and the USL pyramid that make him feel ready for the jump into the “pro”. In 2018 after a summer stint in the USL 2 in Washington DC, Ngassi felt like he had enough pushing in his own endeavors and that his level of play was to be seen in categories of players who are “big money” athletes and/or business people. Since 2018, EG Ngassi has focused on life with soccer in his blood, but not in his avenue of successes.
Would this be the right time for an appearance back on a field with implications- EUGY NGASSI plans to get his new passport in the name of Cimone Mirage.
He also plans to bring light to domestic violence issues, and mental health in his return to the sport. Ngassi tells me in his initial move to Los Angeles after Washington DC he began getting interest from US National team/MLS representatives. Recently he has grown more interest and seen possibilities of entry in an overseas game from where he currently lives (USA).
With this being said- we have a comprehensive interview with various questions where EG Ngassi will have some time to answer and lay out more where his head is at, and what interests he has. These are to be posted on March 12th for the public/ and or teams related.
